For the record, man box culture isn’t traditional masculinity. It’s the enforcement of it as the only acceptable way to be a man. So, no, I do not disrespect traditional masculine norms. But when all boys and men are bullied by the culture to believe that that’s the only proper way to show up, then it’s a problem. Additionally, you talk a lot about compassion in your post. Maybe the next time you want to model some compassion, ask questions instead of telling others what they think. Clearly you didn’t know what I think because you got that entirely wrong. Happy to have a conversation where what I think is something the other person can be curious about, and vice-versa.
