What you would argue as “balance” offered by supposedly "intelligent well-meaning people" isn't about balance at all. It is about the continuing domination of BIPOC by white supremacy. You would maintain the power imbalance that has defined America since it was founded, all in the name of a “balanced” conversation. The domination and violence white supremacy asserts against others is, in fact, the antithesis of balance.
