The Next Big Call: White Dudes for Harris

Inspired by, and following in the footsteps of Black women, it’s time for white men to get 100% engaged and make sure Kamala Harris is elected as our next President.

The reasons why white men like myself must show up in support of Kamala Harris for President were on full display at the Republican National Convention. Trump/Vance’s Project 2025 MAGA movement is a war on women, especially Black women.

For too long, Man Box culture has positioned white men at the top of a bullying and rigid dominance-based culture of masculinity which teaches us that the only power that matters is power we create over others. The result has been economic, political and environmental disaster

Trump and Vance’s MAGA Republican Party is criminalizing abortion, failing to protect IVF, threatening birth control, threatening no fault divorce, fighting for state laws that make it legal to marry little girls. White Christian nationalists are saying the quiet part out loud. They want to take down the 19th Amendment; to end women’s right to vote and take women back a century.

All of this is happening because white men have either actively participated in the white supremacy of the Republican Party or stood by *in silence* and let it happen. This is on us, brothers. This is on us.

Which brings me to Kamala’s theme. “We choose freedom.”

I believe millions of white men are angry at what is being done by Republican white supremacists in our name. We’re angry that the Republican Party presumes to speak for us. Well, it’s time to prove it, brothers.

There’s NOTHING about white supremacy or MAGA that is liberating for white men. It is the ugliest kind of isolating trap leading only to lifetimes of loneliness, violence, early mortality. When we end our silence, go all in for Kamala Harris for President?
