Well, clearly the distinction between a wide range of white cultures and the larger valuing of lighter skin that is a clear marker of a global whiteness culture is not only lost on you, but represents the antithesis of the straw man argument you keep setting up and knocking down here. If you need to make the case that there isn’t a single monolithic white culture, please go post an article about that. You won’t get an argument from me.
I would note that Americans do not view Black culture as monolithic either. Not in the US nor globally. Another straw man. Which I might add is you generalizing about Americans in exactly the way you are complaining about, just grouping millions within nationality instead of race.
But what I think you really are doing is reacting to any collective responsibility for white folks. You seem to want to say is not all white men, so why not be honest about it? Regardless, I’m gonna wrap this up as I’m confident we’re talking past each other and will continue to do so.
